Key Job Role Information
Role –Female Support worker
Location -Runcorn
Salary -£12.75 per hour
Shifts -Our shifts are 24 Hours starting at 9am – 9pm then a sleep shift 9pm – 9am
Expected hours –24 – 48 per week
Key Role essentials and responsibilities –
  1. Full UK drivers’ licence
  2. Competent verbal and written English
  3. Must have experience within health and social care settings
Meet the person you’ll be supporting:
  • Who am I? I am a lady in my 40s who has a learning disability.
  • What challenges do I have? I can display challenging behaviours, and become anxious and upset; I find having a routine is very important to me.
  • What are my aspirations? I would like to travel or go on holiday for a few days.
  • What activities do I like to do? I love attending discos and having meals out with my staff. I like to meet up with my sister every Tuesday and really look forward to this. I love to have my hair and nails done and enjoy picking out which colour nail varnish to have. I love magazines and colouring books.
  • How could I describe myself? I am bubbly, energetic, I have a good sense of humour, and love dancing. I like routine, and getting to know the team around me.
My team
  • How many people support me at one time? I am supported on a 2:1 at all times.
  • What shift patterns do my team do? My shift patterns are 9am to 9pm, with staff sleeping over and finishing the next morning at 9 am.

  • This role does not involve travel between multiple sites during one shift. Spend your whole shift with the person you support, making the biggest impact on their lives.
As a company we are unable to offer sponsorship for overseas candidates. Applicants must have proof of right to work in the UK. It is a requirement to provide an overseas police check dated within the last 3 months of being in the UK; if you have been outside of the UK for longer than a year in the last 10 years.
