iBC Healthcare in Coventry CV12 is hiring a Support Worker Driver to join our vibrant supported living service. This full-time role offers 42 hours per week with day and night shifts, at a pay rate of £12.90 per hour.

You will support people with disabilities using person-centred approaches, assist with daily tasks, and help them access community activities. A UK driving license and experience in care are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience within the care industry, ICSc or equivalent essential.
• UK driving license essential.
• Experience supporting people with mental health conditions and complex needs.
• Knowledge/experience with autism and schizoaffective disorder.
• Ability to multi-task and good time management.

Responsibilities

• To support people with disabilities using person-centred approaches to enable outcomes defined in their support plan.
• Basic daily duties include medication administration, cooking, cleaning, personal care and paperwork.
• Provide emotional and practical support.
• Support access to community facilities and be included in community groups.
• Build robust relationships to promote independence and improve quality of life.
• Empower people to learn new skills or pursue hobbies and interests.
