Job summary

United Response is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to cover a 12-month maternity leave in our Leeds service. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) and focuses on empowering individuals with complex needs to live independently and participate in their communities.

Training will be provided to ensure high standards of care and support. Applications are welcomed from those with empathy, integrity, and a commitment to dignity and respect.

Qualifications

  • Experience in complex needs.
  • Full UK driving licence & be able to drive manual vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day routines in line with personal support plans (e.g., dressing, personal care, finances, medication, appointments).
  • Support with employment, volunteering, and hobbies.
  • Build relationships with people we support and enable them to live the life they want.

United Response are seeking a full-time Support Worker to join our service in Leeds on a 12-month maternity cover contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent following the maternity cover period.

Our support workers are the heart of everything we do. We want you to empower the people we support to live their lives how they want to, whether that’s travelling the world or spending time in their local park! All we ask is that you have the commitment and drive to encourage and guide the people we support to make this happen.

This position is all about building relationships with the people you will be supporting while helping them with their day-to-day routine in line with their personal support plans such as dressing, personal care, finances, medication, attending any appointments along with employment, Volunteering and hobbies.
