Male Support Worker

Full time / Part time, days

Location: Warrington, WA2

Pay: £13.54ph

FULL UK Driving License is essential for this role

Start your day knowing you’ll make a difference - we are looking for Male Support Workers to join our team in Warrington and create a positive impact that improves the lives of the people we support.

Dimensions is a leading social care provider in England and Wales, supporting people with learning disabilities and autism.

You will be supporting one gentleman in his 20s to continue living independently within his supported living home. You must have previous experience, ideally supporting people who can display behaviours of distress.

What will I be doing?

  • Following and implementing positive behaviour support strategies and personalised support plans and risk assessments
  • Responding confidently to behaviours of distress
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Encouraging engagement in activities and hobbies
  • Supporting him to build independent living skills
  • Assisting with managing daily finances, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Supporting with varying degrees of personal care

Shift patterns: We are looking for people who can be flexible to work weekdays and weekends.

Shift times: Days 7am – 10pm, including sleepovers (10pm - 7am).

Early shifts: 7am - 2:30pm

Late shifts: 2:30pm - 10pm + sleep (10pm - 7am)
