Amore Complex Care is seeking fun and outgoing support workers to assist a young lady in her 20s, diagnosed with autism. She enjoys music, arts and crafts, and has a busy routine that includes community outings.

Note: This role is female only, at the request of our client.

Meet the person you’ll be supporting:
  • Who am I? A young lady in her 20s.
  • What activities do I enjoy? Listening to brass music (which I also play), singing, dancing, performing arts, and drama.
  • What challenges do I face? Learning disabilities, autism, and epilepsy, which affect movement and behavior, sometimes presenting challenges.
  • What activities do I do? Going to the cinema, enjoying pub lunches, visiting sensory rooms to relax, as noise can be overwhelming.
  • What kind of people do I get along with? Outgoing, fun individuals with good communication skills, and those who can build a good rapport with my family.
My team:
  • Number of support staff per shift: One support worker during night shifts.
  • Shift pattern: 9pm - 9am Wake Nights.
  • Training: Staff will receive bespoke training tailored to my needs.
Job responsibilities:
  • Supporting with goal-oriented activities and daily living skills
  • Monitoring physical and emotional well-being
  • Assisting with personal care
  • Supporting sensory needs
  • Providing person-centered support
  • Supporting household tasks such as cooking and cleaning
  • Helping develop and maintain community relationships

We do not sponsor overseas candidates. Applicants must have proof of right to work in the UK and provide an overseas police check if applicable.
