Amore Complex Care is seeking fun and outgoing support workers to assist a young lady in her 20s, diagnosed with autism. She enjoys music, arts and crafts, and has a busy routine that includes community outings.
Note: This role is female only, at the request of our client.

Meet the person you’ll be supporting:
- Who am I? A young lady in her 20s.
- What activities do I enjoy? Listening to brass music (which I also play), singing, dancing, performing arts, and drama.
- What challenges do I face? Learning disabilities, autism, and epilepsy, which affect movement and behavior, sometimes presenting challenges.
- What activities do I do? Going to the cinema, enjoying pub lunches, visiting sensory rooms to relax, as noise can be overwhelming.
- What kind of people do I get along with? Outgoing, fun individuals with good communication skills, and those who can build a good rapport with my family.
My team:
- Number of support staff per shift: One support worker during night shifts.
- Shift pattern: 9pm - 9am Wake Nights.
- Training: Staff will receive bespoke training tailored to my needs.
Job responsibilities:
- Supporting with goal-oriented activities and daily living skills
- Monitoring physical and emotional well-being
- Assisting with personal care
- Supporting sensory needs
- Providing person-centered support
- Supporting household tasks such as cooking and cleaning
- Helping develop and maintain community relationships
