Job summary

Community Care Matters Limited in Birchwood, Warrington, is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to empower adults with learning disabilities to live more independent lives. You will join a dedicated team delivering high-quality daily support in a person-centred way, with activities from cooking to outings and theatre trips.

You will have 4 weeks rotas in advance, every other weekend off, and paid training including the Care Certificate.

Qualifications

• Caring and patient with a passion for making a difference.
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential; full training provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Promote independence and choice.
• Assist with daily living tasks including personal care.
• Build trusting relationships with a person-centred approach to care.
• Maintain accurate records and follow care plans.
• Work collaboratively with the team, families, and other professionals.
• Day Shifts 7.30 am to 20.30pm (39 or 52 hours per week)
