Job description

HealthCare NZ is a leading provider of in-home and community-based health, rehabilitation, nursing, mental health and disability support. We are looking for Support Workers to work in Kaikoura.

What does a Specialist Support Worker do?

You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support.

Responsibilities can vary, and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:

• Meal preparation
• Community outings and integration
• Giving medication
• Personal cares (showering, toileting etc.)
• Bowel management stage 3, manual handling and hoist transfers
• Home management

• Most positions require a full NZ driver's licence and your own reliable transport
