The Role

We are seeking a caring, patient, and dedicatedSupport Workerto join our team in Inverness. This role involves supporting young adults living in a four-bedroom home. You will play a key role in helping individuals achieve their goals, build life skills, and engage with their community. We will considerx2 part-timefor the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with mild learning disabilities
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household activities
  • Support individuals in participating in community activities and developing social networks
  • Promote independence and confidence through the development of life skills
  • Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and colleagues to create and follow individual support plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safeguarding procedures

About You

  • Previous experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential; full training is provided
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and patient approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible, reliable, and committed to high standards of care
  • Confident in using Microsoft Word and SharePoint
  • A full, clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
