£24,127 per annum + car user allowance of £900 pa

Full Time, 11-month maternity cover contract, 37 hours per week

The Independent Living Service
  • Supports individuals in the B&NES, Bristol, South Glos, and North Somerset areas to live independently.
  • Provides personalized support plans, from safety alarms to assistance with daily activities.
Responsibilities
  • Support clients to live independently at home.
  • Manage your caseload, build rapport, and understand client needs.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to coordinate support.
Candidate Profile
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, approachable.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable handling challenging conversations with respect.
  • Good listening skills and commitment to positive outcomes.
  • Proficiency with ICT tools like Outlook and Microsoft Office; experience with mobile apps is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently within professional boundaries.
  • Understanding of support planning, risk assessment, and motivating clients.
  • Resilience and awareness of issues faced by vulnerable adults.
  • Driving license and access to transport with business insurance; ability to transport clients is essential.
