Job summary

The Avenues Trust Group in West Malling is looking for compassionate Female Support Workers to help seven adults with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours of concern. Roles include part-time contracts (37.5, 30, or 24 hours) with a pro rata salary of £25,845 per annum for full-time (39 hours).

You will support people to develop independence, enjoy meaningful activities, and stay connected with family and friends in the local community. A full UK driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving license is essential.
• Some experience as a support worker is required.

Responsibilities

• Help people live as independently as possible and achieve personal goals.
• Encourage participation in hobbies, activities and community life.
• Assist with daily tasks such as cooking, shopping, budgeting and maintaining a home.
• Support people to build and maintain relationships with family and friends.
• Provide dignified, person-centred personal care when needed.
• Promote choice, independence and wellbeing every day.
