Job summary

The Avenues Trust Group in Chertsey is seeking a Support Worker for our 12-bed residential service. This is a full-time role (39 hours per week) with a salary of £25,845 per year (pro rata).

We support four men and eight women with diverse needs, including autism, learning and physical disabilities, dementia, and behaviours that challenge. You will provide person-centred care, assist with daily living, and help residents stay independent and engaged in the local community.

Qualifications

• Passion and caring for people.
• Experience in residential or social care preferred.
• Ability to support individuals with autism, learning disabilities, dementia.

Responsibilities

• Supporting people to live independently and enjoy their everyday activities.
• Encouraging social connections with family, friends, and the local community.
• Helping out with finances, household tasks, and shopping.
