Our Meallmore team at Hilton Court is ready to warmly welcome you as a Support Worker within their care home. Located in the charming coastal town of Rosyth, on the outskirts of Edinburgh, Hilton Court is a specialised 32-bed care centre supporting adults aged between 18 and 65 with a wide range of mental health problems, learning disabilities, and acquired brain injury. Our recovery programmes are designed to promote independence and assist with rehabilitation.

We offer a mentorship programme and ongoing learning and development opportunities to support your career growth, whether as a Senior Support Worker or a Senior Support Practitioner. If you're not already working as a Support Worker, you will need to register with the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council), and Meallmore will support you through this process.

Your Role as a Meallmore Support Worker

• Promote and provide high-quality care and support according to individual care/support plans.
• Assist in creating wellbeing within a caring environment and participate in the home's activities.
• Adhere to Meallmore Standards, Policies, Procedures, and the National Care Standards.
• Work in line with the SSSC Codes of Practice.
• Collaborate with care staff within your department and the wider teams.
• Carry out personal care duties.

Desirable Skills

• Working towards the qualification required for SSSC registration.
• SVQ Level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care (as per SSSC guidelines).
• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
• A kind and caring nature.
