Libertatem Healthcare Group is looking to recruit experienced Care Workers to work with our client in Braintree.

Hours:

12hr shifts, days and waking nights available

Mon - Sun

Successful Applicants will be:

• UK residents only
• Full UK valid driver’s license
• Confident driver - able to drive within your region

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting independence and continued rehabilitation
• Providing personalized support in a sensitive and confidential manner, according to support plans
• Understanding and following care plans, seeking clarification when needed
• Participating in monitoring and review of care plans
• Working professionally with multidisciplinary teams and health professionals
• Promoting self-care and self-management to maximize independence

This may include assistance with:

• Mobility, feeding, washing, bathing, dressing
• Management of neurogenic bladder and bowel care
• Domestic tasks such as laundry, ironing, cleaning
• Preparation of food and drinks, shopping, menu planning
• Attending appointments, shopping, collecting pensions
• Providing emotional support
• Using moving and handling equipment safely
• Monitoring skin integrity and noting changes
• Administering medication as per plans
• Rehabilitation activities as directed
• Monitoring health and reacting to changes
• Supporting cultural and individual preferences
• Documenting progress and changes

An enhanced DBS check & training will be provided, along with support from our clinical lead nurse. Mileage or travel expenses will be paid, and weekly pay is available. This role offers an opportunity to develop a broad range of skills in support work, working alongside experienced professionals.
