Job summary

Creative Support is seeking warm, reliable and proactive Support Workers for our supported living services in Stockport. We provide person-centred care to enable people with a learning disability to enjoy active and fulfilled lives.

You will support service users with personal care and daily living tasks at home and in the community, using personalised communication to build trust with the people we support and their families. This role includes sleep-ins and a seven-day rota.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with service users and families.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including sleep-ins.

Creative Support is seeking warm, reliable and proactive Support Workers for our supported living services in Stockport. We provide person-centred care and support to enable people with a learning disability to enjoy active and fulfilled lives.

You will support service users by providing respectful personal care and support with daily living tasks at home and varied activities in the community. Some of the people we support have health or behaviour support needs and will need your skilled support to maintain their health and wellbeing.

You will be expected to use personalised communication approaches and to develop trusting relationships with the people we support and their families.

We can offer a choice of full-time and part-time hours. In most of our services you will undertake sleep-ins. You must be willing to cover various shift patterns (early and late shifts) depending on the needs of the people we support, across a 7 day rota. In most of our services you will also undertake sleep-ins for which we pay an additional sleep-in allowance.
