Job summary

Creative Support is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a Mental Health supported living service in Whalley Range, Manchester. You will provide individualised, person-centered care to adults with mental health needs living in supported housing, promoting emotional wellbeing and independence.

You will build warm, trusting relationships, support daily activities, and help service users express their needs and preferences while maintaining dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain warm and trusting relationships with service users
• Promote the self-esteem, happiness and emotional health of service users, encouraging and supporting them to express their needs, views and concerns
• Provide respectful personal care in accordance with the needs, wishes and preferred routines outlined in the individual’s personal support plans
• Supporting people in a wide range of activities within their home and community
