WEEKENDS - LEEDS 28 CAR DRIVER ESSENTIAL

Training will be provided, and contact will be made through Leeds City Council. The role involves supporting a 12-year-old girl with autism and learning disabilities. Hours are flexible, mainly on weekends and during school holidays, with a total of 19 hours per week.

Responsibilities include supporting her with personal care, engaging in community activities like parks, playgrounds, shopping, and outings, and helping her develop life skills such as road safety, stranger danger, and basic cooking. The role requires a driver with a clean UK driving license and business insurance, as well as patience, calmness, and understanding of autism.

The position offers training, holiday entitlement, and fuel reimbursement. Hours are flexible, with a preference for alternate days, no more than 4-5 hours per day, to maintain routine and reduce stress for the girl.
