Job summary

Elwood Recruitment is seeking experienced Support Workers to deliver high-quality care in Watford's residential services for adults with learning disabilities.

Role involves day-to-day support, personal care, and enabling access to community activities, with a focus on safety and wellbeing in a 24-hour environment. Flexible shifts include early, late, and waking nights, with weekly pay and recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of care and support work experience in the UK.
• Demonstrated experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• Genuine commitment to wellbeing of vulnerable individuals.
• Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, meals, and arranging finances.
• Facilitate access to community-based activities and services.
• Encourage participation in social and recreational activities such as arts, music, and group events.
• Promote independence while ensuring safety and wellbeing.
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive living environment.
