Job summary

Alternative Futures Group is hiring a Support Worker to help people live independently and achieve their goals. You’ll work across settings including people’s homes, community services, and care facilities, following personalised plans to support individual needs and aspirations.

No prior care experience is required; we value a friendly, patient, and enthusiastic attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• You don’t need experience – just the right attitude.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible to work a range of shifts including day shifts, waking nights, sleep ins and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support people to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible.
• Work in people’s own homes, community-based services, or care settings such as Adult Care Homes or Independent Hospitals.
• Each person we support has a personalised plan focused on their needs and aspirations.
