Job Opportunity: Support Worker at Leonard Cheshire

We offer various shifts, including full-time, part-time, and split shifts from Monday to Sunday, with early shifts starting at 7am and the latest shift until 10pm.

Experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, or similar roles is desirable but not essential. We provide excellent training and induction programs for all new staff.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily tasks such as personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
• Escort and assist clients within the service and at external appointments and events.
• Support our Person-Centred approach by encouraging independence and helping clients achieve their individual goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Candidate Requirements:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and creatively with clients and their families.
• Personal care experience is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota if required.
