Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to assist an individual living in their own home in Cheltenham. This person lives with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, FND, Gastroparesis and uses a wheelchair at all times, but this does not define them. They have a love of rehoming vintage treasures, creative projects, and gardening.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 2:1, personalised care and enriching activities
  • Support independence, wellbeing, and daily routines
  • Follow care plans and keep accurate records
  • Work in line with CQC standards and organisational policies
  • Be hands-on, person-centred in daily life to make it meaningful and enjoyable
Role Details

This is a full-time role based in Cheltenham. Local knowledge of Cheltenham and a full UK driving licence are essential to support outings and daytime activities; night shifts do not require a driving licence.

Face-to-face Assessment Day for this role will take place on Thursday 25th September 2025. Attendance is mandatory as it forms a key part of the interview and selection process if successful at pre-screen.

  • Pay rate: £14.00 per hour
  • Shift Pattern: 8am - 8pm and 8pm - 8am waking nights (36 and 24 hours per week permanent contracts available)
