Dimensions Ltd in Portsmouth is seeking Female Support Workers to help nine women in their own home live the life they choose, with dignity and respect. The role covers personal support, promoting independence, and everyday tasks.

Shifts are 7:00–14:30, 14:30–22:00, with alternate weekends; you will work both independently and as part of a team, using tablets for records and communication, and liaising with healthcare professionals.

About the Role

We are looking for Female Support Workers in Portsmouth who share our values and are passionate about helping people live the life they choose.

In Orkney, we support nine women aged 20s–60s who live in their own home. They are active, sociable, and enjoy a wide range of activities, including:

• Trips to local shops
• Walks and outdoor activities
• Games and puzzles
• Clubs and nightclub events
• Theatre trips
• Swimming
• Day services or work placements

Your role will be varied, meaningful, and centred around promoting independence and wellbeing. You will:

• Provide personal care with dignity and respect
• Support people to maintain relationships with family and friends
• Help individuals access healthcare and liaise with professionals
• Encourage participation in hobbies, activities, and community life
• Work both independently and as part of a supportive team
• Use tablets and laptops to complete daily records, communication notes, emails, and health & safety tasks

Shift Patterns

• 7:00am – 2:30pm
• 2:30pm – 10:00pm
• Alternate weekends required

You must be able to work a combination of these shifts.
