Support Worker - Female

Location: Ossett

Part Time: 25 to 30hrs a week, rolling rota

Pay £12.31ph

Are you an experienced Support Worker with a passion for making a difference? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

We are seeking a Female support worker on a part-time basis to join our established team supporting a lady alongside another staff member. You will help her live a safe, fulfilled life, including seeing family and friends, attending drama and craft groups, going on holidays, and visiting the cinema.

What will I be doing?

  • Promoting and supporting her independence
  • Prompting personal care and supporting as needed
  • Assisting with moving, use of wheelchair, and PEG support — all staff are trained in these areas
  • Supporting with medication
  • Helping maintain her home, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry

Work Pattern

This role involves a rolling schedule with 24/7 support, including sleep shifts and two out of four weekends. Shifts start at 9 am to 10 pm, with sleep-in duties followed by 7 am to 9 am shifts.

We require flexibility to work on a rolling rota basis covering weekdays and weekends.

Rotas are provided at least four weeks in advance to support a healthy work-life balance, which is a priority for us.
