Job summary

Voyage Care in Nuneaton is seeking compassionate female support workers to enhance the quality of life for people we support in a welcoming, home-like environment. You’ll help with daily living activities, personal care and social outings, while teaching life skills and encouraging independence within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, and complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist people to gain more independence in daily living and participate in activities.
• Support with personal care and encourage access to local communities.
• Plan and supervise activities such as swimming, Zumba, cinema visits and other social activities.
• Promote wellbeing and safety within a dynamic team in a supported living setting.

Typical Shifts are: Mon -Fri 3.30pm-10pm and Sat and Sun 9am-4pm and 4pm-10pm

We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Female Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our supported living service in Nuneaton is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support going Swimming and Zumba then next you could be unwinding with them , watching films or going to the cinema.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
