About the Person We Support:

We support a social lady in her 60s who enjoys drives in her own vehicle, meals out, seeing friends and family, and visiting places like museums or coastal areas. She has a learning disability and a physical disability, requiring support in a supported living home. You will also provide emotional reassurance during distressing behaviors—full positive behavior support training is provided, but previous experience is essential. A chatty, outgoing support worker with a good sense of humor would be a great match.

What Will I Be Doing?

You will support her to live her life according to her choices, be herself, and achieve her goals. Responsibilities include personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.

"Gender is considered a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010. In this context, 'gender' refers to the sex legally assigned to an individual."

Shift Pattern:

  • Long Day Sleep-ins: 9am-9am the following day (£60 sleep-in shift included)
  • Sleep-in shifts cover hours between 10pm - 8am
  • Rotas are provided 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work-life balance
