Are you an experienced Support Worker with a passion for making a difference? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

“No two days are the same, apply if you're up for a giggle and have a sense of humour.” – Elaine (Assistant Locality Manager)

-----------------------------

About the person we support:

We have a witty young lady in her 30s who loves her football, music and being around her family – especially her nieces. She‘s a passionate gamer and loves to shop!

We are supporting this young lady to live independently in her own home. She is autistic, has a moderate learning disability, epilepsy & needs our support to live her life how she chooses and to achieve her goals.

A support worker who loves to have a laugh or being a little daft, has a great upbeat sense of humour & doesn’t take life too seriously would be a wonderful match.

You will also need to provide emotional reassurance when experiencing behaviours of distress – full positive behaviour support training is provided but previous experience is preferred.

She will need support with her medication, food shopping and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning and laundry. She can complete her own personal care routines but appreciates some friendly encouragement and prompts.

Shifts Patterns:

10am-10am (including a £50 sleepover shift) – Potential to only work 2 to 3 days a week depending on shift patterns.
Sleepover shifts - covers hours between 11pm -7am
11am-7pm day shift for 2:1 support – Can be flexible to an earlier finish depending on activity or plans.
This includes a combination of weekdays and weekends.
Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work life balance - something we're very passionate about!

Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010. In this context, "gender" refers to the sex legally assigned to an individual."

Benefits:

30 days annual leave pro rata with the option to buy and sell leave.
Refer a friend to us and if they’re successfully employed, you’ll receive a £200 bonus.
Paid training and options to further develop your career through funded accredited courses.
A Bike to Work scheme and discounts on meals, shopping, entertainment, and gym memberships are also available.
Salary advance scheme where you can access 50% of the money you've earned before pay day.
