Full-time / Part Time – days and nights

Are you an experienced Female Support Worker with a passion for making a difference? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

We are looking for fun, active support workers to join our team based in Kenton, to support 4 amazing people who live in their own supported living bungalows.

We support 3 gentlemen and 1 lady who all have learning disabilities and autism. Our aim is to support them to live independently, enjoy activities, hobbies, and achieve their life goals.

What do they like doing?

• Spending time with family and friends
• Thrill-seeking activities like fairgrounds and video games
• Shopping
• Being creative through arts and crafts
• Bike riding
• Watching TV, especially drama programmes and crime series like Police Interceptors
• Music and dancing

You will also need to provide emotional reassurance during behaviours of distress. Full positive behaviour support training is provided, but previous experience is essential.

What will I be doing?

• Supporting individuals to live their lives as they choose, be themselves, and achieve their goals
• Assisting with personal care (varying degrees of independence), medication, food shopping, and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry

Shift patterns:

Day shifts: typically 8am – 10pm
Waking nights: typically 10pm – 8am

We seek flexible staff to work on a rota basis, including weekdays and weekends. Rota schedules are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
