A leading social care organization in Newcastle is seeking Female Support Workers to support individuals with learning disabilities and autism. You will assist with personal care, daily activities, and provide emotional reassurance. Flexible shift patterns are available including days and nights. Are you an experienced Female Support Worker with a passion for making a difference? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
We are looking for fun, active support workers to join our team based in Kenton, to support 4 amazing people who live in their own supported living bungalows.
We support 3 gentlemen and 1 lady who all have learning disabilities and autism. Our aim is to support them to live independently, enjoy activities, hobbies, and achieve their life goals.
What do they like doing?
You will also need to provide emotional reassurance during behaviours of distress. Full positive behaviour support training is provided, but previous experience is essential.
What will I be doing?
Shift patterns:
Day shifts: typically 8am – 10pm
Waking nights: typically 10pm – 8am
We seek flexible staff to work on a rota basis, including weekdays and weekends. Rota schedules are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
