This role is not "just care work". It is a meaningful position helping individuals achieve their goals and live independently. Join our team supporting amazing people with learning disabilities and autism.
The individuals we support enjoy activities such as walking into town for coffee, meals, shopping, days out at the seaside, visiting animal parks, playing bingo, and engaging in arts and crafts.
The people we support require full assistance with personal care. One lady uses a wheelchair and hoist for mobility; training will be provided on how to support her. You will also be trained to support a lady with PEG feeding.
Support involves helping with meal preparation, cleaning, and participating in activities. You do not need to be a driver, but it would be helpful as the individuals have cars.

The individuals love animals and have two cats living with them.
