A leading social care provider in St. Ives is seeking a Part Time Support Worker to assist elderly individuals in maintaining their independence. The role involves supporting residents with personal care and engaging them in social activities. Candidates must be compassionate and dedicated to delivering high-quality care. Benefits include training, a pension plan, and a supportive work environment. This is a part-time position covering 25 hours per week, with morning and late shifts as well as alternate weekends.
Radis Community Care are looking for a Part Time Support worker to join the Radis Team at Eden Place, St Ives.
Eden Place in St Ives, Cambridgeshire offers high quality accommodation for older people, helping residents to live independently while getting the care and support they need. There are 55 one and two bedroom apartments that benefit from lots of communal facilities including a lounge, restaurant, hairdressing salon and garden, with the added reassurance of on- site care staff.
This will be a mix of morning and late shifts, alternative weekends. 25 hours per week, plus sickness and annual leave cover.

As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, your primary responsibility is to assist elderly individuals who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them maintain as much independence as possible. This includes supporting people we support with restricted mobility by aiding them in moving safely to dining areas for meals, communal spaces for social engagement, and back to the privacy of their own rooms when requested.
The role will require you to assist people we support with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with people, both individually and as a group.
The core aim of this role is to promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect, consistently delivering care to the highest standard.
