Radis Community Care is seeking a Part-Time Support Worker to join our team at Poppyfields, St Neots.
Note: We are currently unable to consider sponsorship for this role.
Shifts: Afternoons and Nights, including late shifts, 2 nights, and alternate weekends (Saturday and Sunday), from 5-10pm. Role involves lone working and provides sickness and holiday cover.
About the Role:
As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, you will primarily support elderly residents who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them maintain independence. Responsibilities include assisting residents with mobility to access dining areas, communal spaces, and bedrooms upon request.
You will support residents with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, and dressing. The role also offers opportunities to engage residents in recreational and social activities, promoting physical and mental stimulation.
The aim is to promote residents' independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering high standards of care.
