Job summary

Radis Community Care in Loddon, Norfolk, is seeking a Part Time Support Worker for their Extra Care Scheme at Saxon House. You will support elderly residents to maintain independence, assist with mobility, meals, and social activities, and help with personal care as needed.

This role offers 20-25 hours per week across mornings and late shifts, with weekend alternation and cover for sickness/annual leave. No sponsorship is available at this time.

Support Worker - Extra Care Radis Community Care Loddon, Norfolk, England

Radis Community Care are looking for a Part Time Support worker to join the Radis Team at Saxon House, Loddon

Located in Loddon, Norfolk, Saxon House has 37 one and two bedroom apartments designed to help local residents to retain as much independence and control over their lives as possible.

This will be a mix of mornin and late shifts, alternate weekends, plus sickness and annual leave cover. 20 - 25hours per week.

About the role

As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, your primary responsibility is to assist elderly individuals who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them maintain as much independence as possible. This includes supporting people we support with restricted mobility by aiding them in moving safely to dining areas for meals, communal spaces for social engagement, and back to the privacy of their own rooms when requested.

The role will require you to assist people we support with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with people, both individually and as a group.

The core aim of this role is to promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect, consistently delivering care to the highest standard.
