Support Worker Vacancies - Eskdale House, Longtown

Hourly Rate: £13.05 (13.55 per hour)

A market supplement of £0.50p per hour is also attached to this role and is included in the advertised hourly rate. This will be applied to both your basic salary and to any additional hours.

The advertised hourly rate includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and/or working conditions of the role.

Location(s): Eskdale House, Longtown

Available Hours: There are a number of positions available between 0-26 hours per week

We have opportunities for caring and compassionate people to join our Cumbria Care team at Eskdale House as Support Workers (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant) providing support and care within our Residential Care Services.

About Residential Care

Help older adults live their life how they choose and enjoy their later years. Support people to stay active and healthy by encouraging good nutrition and promoting fitness and mobility, as well as supporting emotional wellness.

About The Role

As a Support Worker (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant) you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You may also assist with medication, providing personal care and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence.

This role is an opportunity to help older adults live their life how they choose and enjoy their later years. You will be supporting people to stay active and healthy by encouraging good nutrition and promoting fitness and mobility as well as supporting emotional wellness.

No experience or qualifications are needed to get started. We will help and support you with fully paid training and development - we are looking for the right people with the right qualities. If you do have experience then come and take the next step in your career with us.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check.
