Hourly Rate: £13.00
John is a 19-year-old man with diagnoses including PTEN, Chiari malformation, cortical dysplasia, macrocephaly, autism, complex speech and language difficulties, profound learning disabilities, epilepsy, and Type 1 insulin-dependent diabetes.
John is very relaxed, enjoys the company of support workers, is tactile, and likes watching his favourite TV shows, going for walks in the countryside, and enjoying peace and quiet. He can be startled by loud noises and needs reassurance. He is non-verbal but communicates needs and feelings through other means, requiring supportive communication.
Support involves keeping John company at home, assisting with baking and cooking, spending time in the garden, and taking him out in the community using his accessible vehicle for walks and outings.
Benefits include: 29 days annual leave (pro-rata), increasing to 30 days after 1 year; paid induction training, ongoing training, DBS payment, pension, employee recognition, and other benefits. Refer a friend and earn £300 per successful referral.

Within PBS4, Support Workers are called Enablement Assistants. You will have the support of a dedicated team and access to management and clinical support. Shifts may include days, nights, and sleeps.

Pay Rate: £12.99 - £13.00 per hour
