Job summary

Real Life Options in Inverurie is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help individuals with learning disabilities and other complex needs live independently. You’ll assist with daily living tasks, personal care, medication support, appointments, and social activities, working across varied shifts.

Full training is provided and a PVG check is required; drivers with a licence are preferred to cover transport needs.

Qualifications

• Supporting individuals with learning disabilities and other complex needs.
• Experience with de-escalation and Positive Behaviour Support Plans is desirable.
• Full training provided.
• PVG check (Adult) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day living tasks such as cooking, cleaning and shopping.
• Provide personal care and support with medication; full training provided.
• Help individuals attend medical appointments and manage household mail.
• Encourage participation in social activities and community events.
• Promote independence and help individuals achieve personal goals.
