Job summary

Turning Point in Cheltenham is seeking support workers for our 24‑hour supported living services in Woodmancote and Hatherley. You will help individuals access community activities, develop life skills, and stay safe, with shifts from early morning to evenings, sleep-ins or waking nights, and some weekends. A driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promoting the independence of people we support.
• Supporting daily activities including cleaning and cooking and activities outside the home.
• Arranging activities in the home and local community.
• Developing residents' life skills and personal interests.
• Helping residents stay safe and healthy.
• Assisting with personal care needs.
• Manual handling when required.
• Supporting people with medication.
• Maintaining records to required standards and contributing to service monitoring.
