Job summary

IBC Healthcare is seeking compassionate Support Workers to empower adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. The role involves person-centred support to promote dignity and choice in daily living, community participation, and social integration.

You will work full-time (42 hours/week) with day and night shifts, earning £12.90 per hour. We offer comprehensive training, career progression, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, motivated to support adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
• Experience in learning disabilities or mental health is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living skills, encouraging independence.
• Facilitate community-based activities and meaningful occupation.
• Promote emotional wellbeing and positive mental health.
• Work collaboratively with families and external professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to person-centred support planning.
• Support individuals to manage risks while maintaining choice and autonomy.
