Job summary

Agincare in Wareham is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help individuals with learning disabilities live independently. You will provide person-centred support, personal care, and assist with daily activities, outings, and holidays in a community setting.

The role emphasises building trusted relationships, promoting safety and wellbeing, and delivering care plans with accurate record-keeping. Training up to QCF Level 5 is offered.

Qualifications

• Calm, patient and caring approach; willingness to learn and build trust.
• Full UK driving licence and a valid right to work in the UK (12 months remaining).
• Experience in care settings preferred; strong team player with consistency.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support and personal care.
• Encourage activities and meaningful experiences for individuals.
