Job summary
Medical Update Online in West Malling is seeking compassionate Support Workers to help seven adults with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours of concern live the lives they choose. You’ll support independence and meaningful activities at home and in the community.
The role requires a Full UK driving license and some support worker experience. The team offers training, career development and rewards for every day matters.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving manual license is essential due to the needs of the service and the people we support.
- Some support worker experience is required to join the team in West Malling.
Responsibilities
- Support people to live as independently as possible while achieving their personal goals
- Encourage participation in hobbies, activities and community life
- Assist with everyday tasks such as cooking, shopping, budgeting and maintaining a home
- Support people to build and maintain relationships with family and friends
- Provide dignified, person-centred personal care where required
