Job summary

National Care Group is recruiting a Female Support Worker for Apple House in Christchurch. You will support people with complex needs, helping with daily tasks and personal care while encouraging independence.

You’ll plan activities, assist with cooking and errands, and join outings chosen by the people we support, contributing to social inclusion and confidence building. Paid training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Excellent listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships by listening and planning goals with people we support.
• Help plan daily tasks and assist with cooking, cleaning and errands.
• Assist with personal care, including support with eating and medication where needed.
• Plan and join outings and activities chosen by the people we support.
• Support independence and empowerment wherever possible.
