Job summary

National Care Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Apple House in New Milton. You will help residents with daily tasks, support activities, provide personal care where needed and promote independence in the community.

We offer paid training, opportunities to gain recognised qualifications and a friendly team. Salary is £12.86 per hour (£28,086.24 per annum) for 42 contracted hours per week.

• Make a positive impact on someone's life by supporting them to become more independent wherever possible.

We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker for Apple House at Summerwood.

At Apple House, we encourage the people we support to take an active role in their lives by helping them carry out daily tasks. To develop confidence and promote social inclusion, we help everyone seek new activities and experiences both locally and in the wider community.

We offer a range of our own activities, including pet therapy, visiting owls and dogs, BBQs, picnics, and parties, and we also hold a variety of events. Everyone has a choice of where they would like to go and what they'd like to do, including on annual holidays and weekend breaks. A break away offers people supported the opportunity to interact with new friends in new surroundings and to help develop their social skills.
