Job summary

Sense Scotland is seeking a compassionate one-to-one support worker to accompany Jamie during Friday evenings at local sports activities and Saturday afternoons for ice skating and chosen leisure activities.

Job description

This is a one-to-one support post with Sense Scotland, supporting a young man with additional support needs to take part in his chosen leisure activities. The work centres on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons, covering sport, ice skating and time at home, with an emphasis on community involvement, independence and safety. Seven hours a week, built around evenings and weekends, suits someone who can keep a regular routine. Visa sponsorship is not available, so applicants who need it should not apply.
