Job description

Vacancy Information

The salary advertised is for a full-time position (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours / sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly.

Hourly rate of pay: £12.96 - £13.78
This is a 52-week non-sessional post, including working during school holidays.

Days and hours of work:
Monday & Tuesday, 10:00-14:00
Wednesday, 13:00-18:00
Thursday, 08:00-18:00
Friday, 08:00-13:00
Start date: 11th August 2025.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
Education: Good general education standards.

Must hold an SVQ in Social Services (Children & Young People) at SCQF Level 6 or an equivalent recognized by SSSC. If not obtained, you must commit to achieving it within the required timeframe.

First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain one.

Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate or willingness to obtain one.

SSSC registration or agreement to register within 6 months of employment.

PVG Membership

This role is considered regulated with vulnerable children and/or adults under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020.

All preferred candidates must become a PVG Scheme member, or update their existing membership, before a formal offer is made. Records are regularly updated, and relevant disclosures will be discussed prior to any offer.
