Salary: £23,651 - £25,147 per year (pro rata)

Hours: 8 hours per week
The advertised salary is based on a full-time schedule (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time or sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly.
This is a 39-week sessional position, with working hours during school term time plus in-service days.
Hourly rate of pay: £12.96 - £13.78
Days and hours of work: Monday - Thursday, 11:45-13:45

Relevant Qualifications
Education: A good standard of general education.
Must hold an SVQ in Social Services (Children & Young People) at SCQF Level 6 or an equivalent recognised qualification. If not already obtained, you must commit to achieving this qualification within the required timeframe.
First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain it.
Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate or willingness to obtain it.
SSSC registration or agreement to register within 6 months of appointment is mandatory.
PVG Membership
This role involves regulated work with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as per the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
All preferred candidates must become a PVG Scheme member or update their existing membership before a formal offer of employment.
