MacIntyre seeks part-time morning support workers to help individuals begin their day positively, build connections, and enjoy meaningful experiences. David is in his 40s and enjoying new-found independence whether it’s going for a coffee, riding his favourite horse, heading to a disco, or catching up with mates at the pub. You’ll support David to start his day with confidence, helping him get ready and encouraging him to make choices that feel right for him.
Alfie and Joe are housemates with loads of energy, curiosity and a great sense of humour. They love getting out and exploring or simply going for a drive. With your help, they’re building structure in their mornings and discovering new things they love.
We’re currently recruiting for three part-time morning roles:
7:30am 10:00am
Help David start his day, get ready for activities and feel confident and supported.
2x Support Workers for Alfie and Joe
Monday to Friday
7:30am 10:00am, term time only
Help them begin the day with purpose, energy, and the support they need to thrive.
Some flexibility is appreciated, as routines can vary slightly throughout the year.

About you
You don’t need previous experience just warmth, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference.
You must hold a full UK manual driving licence, as being able to travel opens up more opportunities for Alfie and Joe to do the things they enjoy and visit the places that matter to them.

MacIntyre is a national charity which supports over 1,200 people with a learning disability and/or autism.
We were founded in 1966 by the visionary parent of a child with disabilities and have been growing steadily ever since. We celebrate and develop everyone’s unique gifts, talents and contributions.
Training and Development
At Macintyre we fully support your training and development. We know it can be daunting to start a new job, and not everyone learns the same way, so throughout your probation we will provide you with a mixture of eLearning, face-to-face training and mentoring support whilst on the job.
But it doesn't stop there - throughout your career with us you will have access to our own dedicated in house Learning and Development team, Quality Specialists and HR Teams. These teams, along with your Manager, will provide you with opportunities to learn and develop professionally as well as enabling and supporting you to achieve professional qualifications and career progression opportunities - all free of charge.
