Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker / Early Childhood Educator to join Cambusbarron Nursery Class. This is a 15-hour position during the extended year, with responsibilities including working at alternative nursery provisions during term breaks.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children's learning and development in a busy early learning and childcare environment. They should be nurturing, understanding, compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about meeting the needs of children and families.

Key responsibilities include working effectively as part of a team, establishing positive relationships with staff, children, families, and professional agencies. Prior experience supporting children with additional support needs is desirable.

The successful candidate must register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. The role requires working hours between 8am and 6pm.
