We are passionate about our work, and we are now recruiting Support Workers to join our Fife Housing Support & Care at Home services, based in Dunfermline & Rosyth.
The Role: Support Worker
As a Support Worker, you will assist people with a variety of complex disabilities to live independently in their own homes or our small bright, fully adapted residential settings in the heart of Dunfermline & Rosyth. Each individual has their own private bedroom, either a private or shared bathroom, and access to shared communal spaces.
You will provide support on a one-to-one or group basis, helping customers with their personal care, dressing, medication, mobility, mealtimes, and engaging in their chosen daily activities. Activities include fun community outings such as shopping trips, football matches, cinema visits, and enjoying themed days or games together.
What you need to know
Hours: We are a growing service which means that we are able to offer; 16, 19, 24, 26 & 31.5 hour contracts (contact us for more info and to discuss your availability). Working a mix of dayshift and backshifts on a rotational basis – Nightshift, relief, evening and weekend posts are also available.
Drivers preferred but not essential, whilst we welcome applications from drivers, we can consider non drivers. If you do need to go out and about with our customer for that dinner and cinema trip, your costs are covered.
