Job Introduction
Autism Anglia is a well-established independent charity. We have opportunities available for Support Workers who can drive and hold a full UK Driving License, on a full-time and part-time basis. Working from our Supported Living Services or Peldon Campus in Colchester, Essex.
The successful Support Worker will assist people on the autistic spectrum, some with additional Learning Disabilities, enabling them to maximize their potential and develop life skills across multiple activities. The role involves working as part of a team to help individuals achieve their own life goals through person-centred planning.
This role is suitable for someone with previous experience working as a Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant (HCA), or Carer, particularly caring for autistic individuals or those with Learning Disabilities in a healthcare setting.
Autism Anglia is dedicated to providing ongoing training, supervision, continuing professional development, and support, including an extensive induction upon employment.
Location: Colchester and Peldon Campus
Salary: Up to £24,019.67 per annum (£12.45 per hour)
Hours: Full-Time and Part-Time hours; up to 37 hours per week; overtime available
