Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Implement individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment
  • Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and others, respecting confidentiality
  • Support service users with meals, laundry, cleaning, and social events
  • Maintain accurate notes and records as required
  • Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care
Personal Characteristics:
  • Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one
  • Experience supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Confidence to work independently and in a team
  • Passion for working with vulnerable adults
  • Commitment to safeguarding standards
