Northern Case Management in the Greater Manchester area seeks a motivated Support Worker/Personal Assistant to join a small team supporting a 33-year-old man with cerebral palsy at his home in Hawkshaw, near Bury. The role focuses on promoting independence and community involvement, with driving duties and a person-centred care approach.

You will provide a range of care activities, transport to appointments and events, and may mentor AAC users, support presentations, and attend conferences.

Qualifications

• Full clean UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience with cerebral palsy or brain injury desirable but training provided.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure required.

Responsabilités

• Support client with daily living and community activities.
• Drive client to work, appointments and events in the adapted vehicle.
• Work independently and as part of the team to maintain independence.
• May mentor AAC users, give presentations or attend conferences.
