Job summary

Mencap in Liskeard, Cornwall, is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our dedicated team on a permanent, part-time basis. A driver is required, and you will cover varied shifts to support our individuals with learning disabilities across days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

You will assist with daily living tasks, personal care and medications, while receiving training on epilepsy and restrictive practices. A rewarding role with a strong focus on safety, dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Driver is required.

Responsibilities

• From assisting with personal care, medication, finances, food preparation and hygiene.
• You will receive additional training in Epilepsy and restrictive practices.
