Job summary

Creative Support is seeking a compassionate Support Worker in Stockport, Greater Manchester, to help adults with learning disabilities live active, fulfilled lives. You will provide personal care and support with daily living tasks in homes and in the community.

Role requires flexible shifts including sleep-ins and driving licence; training is provided to progress within the organisation. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and apply via the Creative Support website.

Full-Time/Part-Time

We are seeking warm, reliable and proactive full and part time Support Workers for our learning disabilities supported living services in Stockport. We provide person-centred care to enable people with a learning disability to enjoy active and fulfilled lives.

You will support service users by providing respectful personal care and support with daily living tasks at home and varied activities in the community. Some of the people we support have health or behaviour support needs and will need your skilled support to maintain their health and wellbeing.

You will be expected to use personalised communication approaches and to develop trusting relationships with the people we support and their families.

In most of our services you will undertake sleep-ins. You must be willing to cover various shift patterns (early and late shifts) depending on the needs of the people we support, across a 7-day rota. In most of our services you will also undertake sleep-ins for which we pay an additional sleep-in allowance.
